John Biagioni brings to the Peake Fellowship the experience of global leadership on National Industrial Base (NIB) readiness and local leadership on Peake’s industrial base Growth Groups. Mr. Biagioni’s distinguished career across the manufacturing sector includes a track record of driving operational excellence, profitable growth, and organizational transformation.

Mr. Biagioni continues to serve as President of Lampin Corporation, a 35-person employee-owned, precision machine shop which has been an applied learning partner and client of the Fellowship program since 2014. On behalf of Lampin, Mr. Biagioni accepted the National Defense Transportation Logistics Innovation Award which recognized Lampin at the NDTA’s 80th anniversary meeting fostering the public-private supply chain collaboration between the U.S. Armed Services and the U.S. industrial base.

To strengthen overall capabilities and capacities of the U.S. and its partners, Mr. Biagioni advocates the value analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) disciplines he practices every day. Specifically, Mr. Biagioni continues to write and speak on predictive & prescriptive analytics that mobilize bottom-up nationwide competitiveness by the U.S. and its partners. In doing so, he has been a role model for how Peake builds on those disciplines as part of Peake’s AI and Member 1st (AIM1) approach to strengthening each Fellow’s applied learning across supply chain ecosystems.

Mr. Biagioni began his career as a machinist while still a teenager, and went on to work in various machining roles including the Electric Boat submarine supply chain. He went on to leadership in strategic and Profit & Loss responsibilities including the direction of global supply chain for 4 industrial companies within Roper Technologies, a multinational high tech manufacturer with over $7 billion in annual revenues. While at Roper, Mr. Biagioni advanced to the role of President of Dynisco and Viatran Corporations. As president he and his team delivered a 25% improvement in operating profit while expanding gross margins by 320 basis points through disciplined execution, operational rigor, value engineering, and strategic investment. Mr. Biagioni also held key roles at the leading digital storage provider, EMC, now part of Dell.

Mr. Biagioni’s passion for mentoring, continuous improvement, and learning starts with building high-performance teams, strengthening organizational capabilities at scale, and navigating complex operational and market challenges. His leadership experience spans supply chain and operations, LEAN manufacturing, industrial instrumentation, Internet of Things-enabled devices, and crisis management across global manufacturing environments.

Mr. Biagioni serves on the board of the Massachusetts Center for Employee Ownership, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Engineering Advisory Council, and the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce. He previously served on the Board of the Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School where his son attended. Mr. Biagioni holds a MS in Operations and Information Technology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a BA in Economics from the University of Rhode Island.
